Caitlyn McCrea
Musical theatre & vocal coach, teacher and performer.
Caitlyn is a professional performer and vocalist performing for most of her life in a variety of settings. Caitlyn gained her Masters in Creative Musicianship and Performance in 2018 at Ulster University and performed with her own 10 piece band in the Great Hall, Derry.
Caitlyn is trained in Musical Theatre through London College of Music, achieving distinctions at all grades. She has played various lead roles such as Sandy in Grease, Ariel in Footloose, Ado Annie in Oklahoma and Vivienne Westwood in the Millennium Forum production of Legally Blonde. In October 2021, Caitlyn played the leading role of Calamity Jane in LMS’ Production. In April 2022, she played the leading role of Maria in LMS’ 60th anniversary of ‘The Sound of Music’.
Caitlyn recently came runner up for AIMS Awards for Best Female singer across all Ireland musicals.
Caitlyn performed in the Millennium Forum’s 2021 Christmas Panto Sleeping Beauty, where she played the role of the Queen, understudied the Lilac Fairy and was part of the ensemble.
Caitlyn was part of the Culture Night Belfast 2019 where she performed a selection of musical theatre numbers in the Europa Hotel, Belfast. Caitlyn was part of the Derry Jazz Festival 2019, performing on the main stage in Silver Street alongside the 11 piece band Stevie and the G’s with brass accompaniment.
Caitlyn tours with tribute band ABBA Sensations who have toured the island of Ireland including the INEC Theatre in Killarney and the Royal Theatre Castlebar. Caitlyn is also part of the Swinging Sixties Show, Country Show and Madonna Tribute.
During university, Caitlyn was part of the University of Ulster Choir and Chamber Choir, performing choral works by Eric Whitacre, Howard Goodall and Daniel Elder. She performed on the Millennium Forum stage for the International Choral Festival and the Walled City Tattoo singing Eponine’s solo in ‘One Day More’.
Though Caitlyn’s main instrument is vocals, she is also a versatile pianist and violinist. Available to book for weddings, private events and gigs.
Alongside her work for McCrea Music & Theatre, Caitlyn is the National Regional Connector for Together With Music, a UK charity.
Caitlyn has hosted by weekly live performances for Together with Music members across the UK.
Zoe Kyte
Dance teacher and choreographer.
Zoe Kyte is an associate teacher for the Associated Board of Dance (ABD). She has trained in ballet, tap, modern and acrobatics at the Rainbow School of Dance, Eglinton with Venessa Chapman and also at the Irish National Youth Ballet, Dublin. Zoe has also gained qualifications in musical theatre and classical singing.
Zoe has toured Ireland with the Monica Loughman Ballet Company in their production of the Nutcracker and was a soloist for both the English Youth Ballet and INYB.
Zoe has recently appeared in Peter Corry's "The Showman is Coming" which took place in theatres over Ireland and also a TV appearance on "Nolan Live."
Zoe has appeared on posters and billboards for Discover NI advertising campaign for Derry~Londonderry City of Culture 2012, as well as TV advertisements. She has recently appeared in Medbh McGuckian: Portrait of a poet as the ballerina on BBC NI.
Zoe has competed in scholarships and championships all over the UK and has won 16 ABD scholarships and placed runner up in Blackpool's Champion of Champions.
Zoe is a regular performer at the Millennium Forum dancing in pantomimes, including Jack and the Beanstalk 2017, Peter Pan 2018, and Snow White & the Seven Dwarves 2019 to name a few. She has previously gained experience in amateur dramatics including Jennyanydots in Cats and Brooke Taylor-Windman in Legally Blonde with Youth Forum and Miss Martha, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers with the Londonderry Musical Society.
Outside performing Zoe has choregraphed for numerous primary and post primary school productions including Broadway Nights, Back to the 80’s and Grease at Limavady Grammar School, Annie and The Lion King at Eglinton Primary School and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Termoncanice Primary School.
Zoe has recently gained an honours degree in Biochemistry from Queen’s University Belfast and is working through a science PGCE with academic teaching aspirations.
